Possible 69er build...fork options

I have the same issue... finding a straight steerer 29er fork is not easy. Evobikes have the Rockshox Recon Gold in stock. That's all. CWC don't stock straight steerer forks.

For those interested...69er is from page 23 of the kama sutra is a 26" rear and 29" front end, typically used in a last-ditched effort to breathe life into a much loved, once-expensive-now-obsolete rig.

 

Or, some would say, leveraging the same principle used in offroad motorbiking where the rear is used for drive (17", 18") and the front is used for handling on rough terrain (21").
