Get a good helmet that covers most of your head

Bell super, ixs there are some others basically enduro styled helmets. They fit more snug as well

I got a new RP Zumax. Comfy and sturdy. Whatever you get, check the straps and ratchet system, and how it is connected to the shell itself. Have seen some dodgy ones (scott's helmets are not that impressive)
