Cav has his eyes set on the track for RIO.. so he may not even commit 100% to TDF. Or if he does he won't finish it. So they will keep that in mind when they select the team.. if of course they get another invite and I they don't get a world tour licence

On top of that Cav has to actually qualify for the track team against some very, very good track specialists in the UK set up. Also the Madison event is no more in the Olympics so he's kind of left with the Omnium to tick one of the last things off his palmares.

They will still want a few stage wins from him .

reading that full lineup, its still quite surreal that Cav signed for that little Miocrosoft team riding Schwinn frames painted as Raleighs.......

Way to early to call and apparently there are more singings coming, but I'd say the strongest GC tour would be:

Mark Cavendish

Mark Renshaw

Bernard Eisel

Omar Fraile

Edvald Boasson Hagen

Steve Cummings

Daniel Teklehaimanot

Jacques Janse van Rensburg

Reinardt Janse van Rensburg

Would love to see Kudus, Berhane and Reguigui pushing hard to be considered ahead of a few of the internationals.
