just a question out of curiosity, but what exactly does the winner of the ctct actually win? I checked their site but there is no mention of what the winner actually gets, it will be nice to know if he actually gets a prize or just street cred

I started out of 1F with lead legs.(and a almost 50 yr old diesel motor). I got dropped up Edinburgh Drive and started a second group on M3. Thanks to a Serge for taking turns towing down the Blue Route. This Serge chap and a MTBer and I worked well together to chase and catch 1F in Muizenberg...well that and the concertina effect! Nicely done! All the other wheel suckers. You suck! I kept to the right side of the road all along beach. Mostly trouble free and suffered a bit up Smitswinkel and regrouped with a lady called Kasha (seems she'd fallen earlier) but she was awesome. Rallying the troops and getting wheel suckers involved. Kasha and another Cyclelab guy dragged us till over Chappies. I cramped up Suikerbossie and was forced to cruise over the line for 3:17. Great weather. Great race

I rode in Dimension Data club 100 kit and got confused for a Team Didata pro when an Oomie asked me how the Tour was. When I said "what tour " he goes, "okay there's your answer" and cycles off miffed

5 person tandem[emoji21]

Pictures please.

Picture attached for your viewing pleasure.

This pic was taken at the 947CC, but it is the same okes. Their steed broke about halfway through the 947 I believe, the frame gave in.

They possibly made some improvements for the CTCT, so the bike might have looked a bit different over the past weekend.

Let's hope I become an official finisher today...

I send them an e mail yesterday morning, and late yesterday afternoon my times were up.

still wonder why it was not up originally

Thought it was because I did two laps, but other people who did the second lap times were up from the start.

Anyway, just glad both my times are up now, and correspond with my Garmin recorded time.

Think I saw you guys out there! My wife and I was on the raleigh tandem with green Star South kit and the jukebox!

Had an absolute blast of a time! Started in 2B and aimed for a sub 4 as we only did 4 tandem training rides of which only one was longer (60km) than 40km...well that was the plan...till the gun went off and my usual competitiveness kicked in and wanted to chase everything down. I knew our wheels will come off at some stage...seems our luck was in and it was only in the last 5km! Ended up with a 3:09 and the most enjoyable Tour yet! Enjoyed the vibe and attitude of everyone we rode with!

I hear the wife had to cheer you on from behind. Friday night was still in the legs otherwise a sub 3?

My results aren't up yet either, so I logged a query on the Racetec website and then I got a email from postmaster saying undeliverable because the Racetec mailbox is full.

So, it seems that there are a lot of queries.

There is about R250k that is spread equally between men and women, down to like 10th place.

Mr. Pure Savage I am so sure a I rode a huge part of the second lap with you and your 2 friends ( all also 1A numbers and if I remembered correctly one name on back was Kevin or something), also wearing Pure Savage cycling kit?

I was the guy following you... - sorry for only sitting slip the whole time...lol

If it was you, nice "meeting" you man!

Yup that was us, Kevin, Delano and Brendon.

Delano was the one with the off key singing of Taylor swift and Carley Rae Jepson!
