I know this guy who owns all these cars, he also owns 1 mtb...

Now thats a ratio i dont even want to attempt with my std10 standard grade maths

His garage (in the picture) only showing the ferraris, i could not fit all the cars in one picture...

But yes i think he is pretty happy with his lot, going to retire when he turns 50, next year....baastid

Am I the only one battling to determine what car and bike value should be used.... Current value / replacement cost / what you paid for it? Scary to look at the numbers like that when you see the combined "cost" of inflation and depreciation!

 

If I take current value I'm at

 

Houses: Cars = 12:1

Houses: Bikes = 50:1

 

Replacement Cost

 

Houses: Cars = 3:1

Houses: Bikes = 25:1

 

What I paid

 

Houses : Cars 5:1

Houses : Bikes = 35:1

I'm struggled with maths in matric and that was in 1981, sooo i simplified it:

my ratio is based on quantity instead of value:

 

3:1:1

 

3 bikes: 1 residence (not even a house) : 1 car

retail value. In other words, what you'd have to pay to get one like it in current values.
