Biggest advantage after stage 5 since 1949...

According to Dimension Data, Greg Van Avermaet is the yellow jersey wearer with the biggest lead over his runner-up after stage 5 since Jacques Marinelli who had an advantage of 14.58 over Vittorio Magni in Saint-Malo.

Im curious to see this info, particularly on "flatter" stages like today...

According to Cyclingnews. Roman from Tinkoff wasn't given the go ahead in yesterday's stage and he thought Contador was on his wheel at 1.5km to go

Strange isn't it. I would die on the climbs and they say this is a stage for the sprinters.

Is bizarre. I got curious when Matt Keenan started todays commentary by saying the stage is predominantly downhill with a few lumps!!
