Vetplant Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Damn, yesterday's stage was boring and a relief for the Froome fans.If it was not for the scenery I would have fallen asleep much sooner, luckily I had it on the pvr and could rewind to see what happened at the finish line. Seriously, to many mountain climbs are making the racing boring.... A little less climbing and the racing will be much better.Agreed. The mountain stages use to be the ones where all the action happens, but nowadays its the flat stages with crosswinds that bring the action... Can we order some more wind for next year's edition..?
Vetplant Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Back to today.. I see MainCheese has a 1min lead on the rider behind him but there are 3 riders within 50 seconds ahead of him... so is he moving up or down on the leader board today...?
Gen Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Lol A fast start of @marcelkittel sees him set the best time at the first checkpoint! #WayToRide #TDF2016

dev null Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 I think Maincheese will just want to do enough today to stay in 10th on the GC, and then maybe see who else blows on the next 2 days. I think he will be happy to be in the top 10 when they hit Paris.
Vetplant Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Cummings finishes 9th on the current roster. Stage was never intended for him. Time will tell whether this is more suited to Tom D or FroomeDawg.... leaning to the latter...

Vetplant Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 What time does Dumoulin go off? He sits 44th on GC, there are 117 riders left to start, so that leaves another 73 before Tom starts.... at the current 2min gaps it should be another 2h23 before he starts... so round about 15:17ish. Edit: Referenced the wrong post initially
