Odinson Posted October 22, 2015 Share Internal routing for a dropper on a road bike (oops! "gravel grinder") with 30mm travel. Really, Cannondale?
clyde79 Posted October 23, 2015 Share This does seem like quite an odd mix. Baracuda

Baracuda Posted October 23, 2015 Share This does seem like quite an odd mix. Indeed. I can see the utility of gravel / cycle-cross bikes if you need to do a few kilometers of jeep track or dirt roads on your predominantly road commute or training ride - e.g. Spec Diverge or Giant TCX, but once it gets rougher than that and you need suspension for corrugations etc. why not buy a hardtail 29er MTB with narrowish tires? Sportsworld.co.za Posted October 23, 2015 Share The SuperX looks amazing if you want a solid fork: http://media.cannondale.com/media/catalog/product/cache/3/small_image/725x/17f82f742ffe127f42dca9de82fb58b1/C/1/C16_C17226M_BLK_3.1440862958.jpg The Slate falls under Cannondale's "New Road", the top version looks pretty amazing, 1 x 11 with a 44T in front: http://media.cannondale.com/media/catalog/product/cache/3/small_image/725x/17f82f742ffe127f42dca9de82fb58b1/C/1/C16_C15706M_BLA_3.1440862886.jpg Still, I'm keen to put drop handlebars on a MTB hard tail!
