Sani2C Adventure on SS2 last night

I agree with the comments. Really excellent coverage, with a great mix showing the riders, the route, the community support, and the cameraderie. Great script by Max Cluer and footage by Go Boy Productions (who are much better than Big Shot Media, who I believe did both the Epic and Sani2c race).

Are Supersport going to do a program like this of the regular riders that undertook the Epic?

From what i understand, the couple on the tandem in the Adventure walked down Nicks Pass, whereas the couple on the Tandem in the main S2C race rode down Nicks Pass.

It must have been an exceptional race.  I have never heard people used the following words more in my life: "Awesome' date=' amazing, awesome, out of this world, awesome, wonderfull, awesome, excellent, awesome.....Clap

Definitely want to do it.  I heard it is difficult to get a entry

Wow - must get this taped.

I did the Adventure and can not recommend it highly enough. Sure - if racing's your thing and you think you're going to podium or beat your mate go for the race. BUT the vibe on the adventure was awesome - exactly what I missed in the Epic, where everyone seemd intent and overtaking you at all costs, as if coming 334th rather than 335th mattered.

In the Sani2c adventure people 'raced' or didn't and no-one cared' it was all about fun and sharing a great ride together.

There were two tandems in the Epic... both finished.

Spoke to the one pilot, and he said it was great fun, hard, but manageable.... Guts and more guts....

i saw myself on TV in the adventure the tandem i saw walked down nic's pass, all i could smell at the bottom was burnt disk pads, haha, glad to have finished, rode it really slow but 20 hours on a bike in 3 days is far to much, more hill training required for next year.

Supersport didn't do the footage - they just aired what was produced by Go Boy productions on behalf of the organisers.

What a great show! Saw it this morning while I was on the IDT! Made me want to go out and buy a "proper" MTB! And our MichelleH had a speaking appearance, uttering that immortal cycling phrase "What hills?"! LOL
