I was also looking for some a while ago and ended up using some anti slip floor laminate (the stuff they put over decals on the floor in shopping centres) for the interim until I could find.

I ended my search as that stuff works bloody well. It is matt and very workable when heated with a hairdryer, into nooks and crannies.

Also much cheaper and available from most signage suppliers, Maizey plastics etc.

Tried helicopter tape before, not that great. and removal is an absolute mess. glue stays behind and you are rubbing it off by hand.

CWC had some Bikeshield on special recently. that stuff works quite nicely.

I sell a product called BPS It is a 325micron automotive grade clear modified PVC. Kit includes a pre cut sheet that offers protection for top and down tube, seat and/or chain stays, outside fork lowers, head tube, crank arms, cable rub points.

Kit includes the pre cut sheet of BPS, a 100x10cm self cut strip (Because not all frames are the same and sometimes custom cut outs are required), a bottle of BPS cleaning solution and a comprehensive set of instruction for easy installation.

If you can peel and apply a sticker, then applying BPS is a walk in the park an easy free wheel down jeep track!

If you are interested, please feel free to drop me a PM. Kits start at R300 excl postage. Bulk discounts apply.

Not sure who sells it up your way. I got my 3M tape from Epping Industrial Suppliers in CT. Product code was 8671HS, cost R154 when I bought 1m of it over 2 year's ago. I still have the same tape on my bike on the down tube - it is the only place that isn't scratched!.

Okay - that sounds like a good option - I always get bubbles under this kind of thing.

Which agent did you go to if I may ask? Where are they located?
