  1. 1. What do you do with your vintage/retro bikes?

I am curious. What does everyone do with their vintage bikes?

Reason I ask is a recently got a 1995 Kona Explosif with the intention of restoring it and riding every now and again for short distances. I have since ridden it twice and both times have thoroughly enjoyed it.

I am thinking of making this my go-to bike in the future and moving some of the newer parts off my full suspension Giant to this bike to improve the ride even more. I know some people would this of this as ruining the bike but at least it will be getting ridden, as it was made to do.

I have an Nuovo Record Alan circa 1983 and a 531 Hansom with DA 7400.

More often than not, I choose to ride them above my carbon fibre BH with Chorus.

Call me nostalgic, but I love the retro feel and look......

I have a 1995 Kona Explosif that I bought as a bit of a side project but enjoy riding it so much it has now become my main bike. I moved some of the components from my FS Giant to it. Its no longer "Period Correct" but to me its important that the bike gets ridden.
