Morning everyone, I'm keen to go ride van gaalens tomorrow, anyone know if they open tomorrow? Only asking as i see Hakahana posted a notice on their website saying their closed now and opening again in the new year..

The beauty about vangaalens is no race ever spreads over all the trails so even when there are races you just go ride another section, it's so vast you won't even know there is a race on

VG is usually open everyday except Tuesday, but with the bike shop there now and them handling the riding fees this might've changed.

They're usually closed on Christmas Day, but best to message Victor on the Facebook page to confirm. I'll also try find out.

Route markings have improved around the river and greek church.

Had a great ride there the other day. Hit it early, else the heat will get you!

Ya i was there last week and the temperature was 43 Celsius in the sun at 2pm, unbelievably hot.
