Nice new single track, crossing river, etc. to go AROUND da mountain instead of over it.....

Almost lost it there.....twice.... (Or was that 4 times?!) Very technical with loads of boulders to cut up brand new tires (Hello Scalpel)

sounds like fun... i just need to get a new front tyre... and do a tubeless conversion...

my bike came with kenda karma's. front tyre has a small slice so it needs replacement. i want to go tubeless. what is best option - replace both tyres with something more suited to tubeless (if so what) replace just the front one (if so with what) or scrap the tubeless idea and go with liners and pre-slimed tubes?

Great news. How do you access the Fountains area? Is there signage?

You still have to enter through the Groenkloof gate . The gate to Groenkloof is a bit up the road from the fountains gate .

Never heard of a security problem there - the same is true for Northern Farm, despite open gates around the perimeter.

Both Groenkloof and Fountains are in a totally fenced off nature reserve, you're more likely to get held up by a giraffe than snoobab...

Surely the Karma's would be fine, don't see why you'd have to replace the good one as well.
