Watched all the vids and they make it look so easy so hopped on the bike for a quick practice....urrrmm...not so easy.

I am starting to realize my issues though: firstly, i need to get further back on the bike, more so than i think, in like almost sitting on the rear tyre for the manuel part which i am only practicing at the moment. Hip flexibility helps here.

Secondly: Fear. I got it right about twice (getting the front wheel high) but then i panicked and front wheel dropped. Need to be comfortable hanging right off the back of the bike for the first part.

Once that is nailed then i can practice the second part.

Keep a gentle finger on the rear brake and practise getting the front up, if it feels like you going past the balance point then just lightly feather the brake and the front will come back down. No need to bruise your bum lol.

Ya most of mine lately have been while standing still :P Although mostly on the back of the shin  :w00t:

You mean your calf?

Occasionally looks like I was attacked by a wild animal.  :cursing:

I usually get mine while moving the bike around indoors.

"Daai goed is erg kwaad en het tanne" - buddy of mine 2 days after I fitted a set of the proper Giant flat on his bike

He says every now and then he gets bitten by them as to remind him not to suck.
