Don't get me wrong, they both really special, but this is just more my cup of tea Berg and Bush way better than Sani IMO. Also like the fact that you stay 2 nights at the same venue. Entry for the Descent is done and dusted. :-)

Grey Hubs Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 I have some good memories of the Great Trek last year (my first B&B). The wire bicycle trophy (3rd place) that sits on my desk and makes me smile every time I look at it. Thanks to a very strong partner! And the epic over-the-handlebars-at-speed-into-a-donga fall I had that cost us 20 minutes on the second day and a ton of pain...Fortunately nothing broken! Yes, a totally epic race well worth doing with glorious single track! As a good friend said, one of the best Stages races he's ever done... Plan to be back with less acrobatic displays and more fun!
