Does anyone know when entries open for the 947 cycle challenge, the web says April but its almost the end of April still nothing.

I see now you from KZN so Geralds race wouldn't be an option for you. I'm not familiar with the races down there, We lucky up here that we do have a variety to choose from.

 

well you guys are very lucky up there with soo many events. We only have 2 events a year that count, TD thats happening this weekend and Amashova.

 

I missed Geralds event earlier this year but will be sure to be there for the next one.

Sorry to hijack the thread but is there any other races in the Gauteng, Limpopo, northwest areas similar to the emperors classic(flat and fast) before 94,7 as I need to improve my seeding.

Ha-ha! Don't think we'd manage the workload.

 

But we are working on a series of Crit races for the winter. Fun events for the serious and less-serious. 20-mins + 1 lap

where do you find a list of seeding races for 2016?

Not true. You can ask for a reseeding which will take your Satellite time into account. At a cost, of course.

Well it is true, because if you don't ask for reseeding that is exactly what your seeding will be

 

There are exceptions but listing the norm rather than the exception

94.7 is already close to 500, I don't want to pay extra on top of that

I always approached the seeding differently. I chose the hillier races because the the beta was higher and if you can only slightly climb its a great way to improve seeding, like the jock boosted my results each year, even though I finished 50 minutes after the winner I would still get an index of about 10-20

 

But on a flat race you only finish 30 minutes behind the winner and ur index is 50.

So pototo potato which suits you best I suppose but just pointing out the other side of the coin

Just received an sms that the entries are open for 947. I checked the portal and the system seems to work. 709 entries aleady processed.
