I ride a Anthem so same problem.  I just carry a bottle in my jersey pocket on long rides, hardly notice it's there anymore.

Would be fugly but you could cable tie a cage to the top tube, use an old tube to protect the frame where the cage makes contact. But would not be pretty though

I  use one of these seat brackets works great...just use a velcro strap around the bottle for seriously bumpy track...got a dropper seat post now still use it.

Oh my word. Fashionistas and their bikes. I ride a bike cos i enjoy it, not because the Velominati have instructed me on what i needs to look like when i ride it. 

 

Howard, please advise what components you have used. I have gone through 3 saddle mounts trying this layout on mine (with a dropper btw). The stem between the saddle clamp assembly and the mount to the cage is the weak point in my view. I would still like to look at making this work as i do not like Camelbacks, and carrying extra water bottles is not always comfortable on some races.
