I see this thread last had a post in 2020...

Strava has been suggesting rides & hikes in groenkloof, citing recent activity.  Has anyone been there recently, and is Groenkloof safe again?

Haven't been to Groenkloof but have cycled at Klapperkop a couple of times, loads of runners and cyclists on the road there.

Want to try cycle at klapperkop this weekend ? Is it still boomed off and safe ? Cycled there begining of last year and was packed so hoping it is still the same
