I am sorry I have to miss out on this because of family vacation.... really bad planning on my wifes part- maybe next year - or later this year as a social ride with Eddy

Almost - The natural rock house before you drop down again towards the gate. (Family of my wife) Stop for a chat if you have time

 

Don’t worry - I will go down and make sure the gate is closed afterwards on behalf of the owner - but only for that day... normality return afterwards and everyone close the gate themselves the rest of the year please.  (I spend 3+ hours on a Sunday afternoon before to undo what that open gate can cause. Not nice in the summer. )

 

Edit - not a cattle gate, the normal one. The cattle gate you are talking about is the start of the farm. That is a bit far from my beer, but I will move around and try to take some pics...

Yes the gate, posting a marshall there so no problem, will ensure it's closed as we evacuate that sector of marshalls and move them back to Swartberg Pass
