Dubber Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Did Platt and Huber take the Widowmaker?By all accounts they did. In fact most of the top 10 teams did. But I didn't see them personally.
cpelser Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 By all accounts they did. In fact most of the top 10 teams did. But I didn't see them personally. On the Supersport interview when asked whether they're going to take the "more technical" shortcut, they answered that it isn't really shorter so they're not going to risk it. Whichever way, if anyone without a dropper takes that without seeing it first, serious kudos to them!
SwissVan Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Here's one to open up my account. I'll add one or two more in a while Epic pic.... of the day for me.The smile says it all
Dubber Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 On the Supersport interview when asked whether they're going to take the "more technical" shortcut, they answered that it isn't really shorter so they're not going to risk it. Whichever way, if anyone without a dropper takes that without seeing it first, serious kudos to them!Agreed - you got to know what you are doing going down there. But on the 'not shorter' point: either they are mis-informed or they are trying to make themselves feel better. I was up there taking photos of the earlier guys - even those that walked down the widow maker ended up in front of those taking the chicken run. So a significant saving - assuming you make it down safely. (Big assumption).
