Remember this is not a common spaz, santa cruz, scott, giant, cannondale, merida or momsen (Have I left out any other brand sensitive riders )Just some advice. What ball park figure would a 2016 Spitty that is in really good condition with a CC DB (recently serviced) be worth locally? Hairy Posted March 17, 2018 Share Did a bit of a reboot with the shock last night.Let all the air out and backed out all the rebound.Pumped it up a bit, then cycled the shock ... repeated this process till I got to my desired SAGSAG at 25% vs the 30% I have been running before.Did a ride this morning on the mountain with a fun little descent (Walters Waffle) on Signal Hill Side and the bike felt good. A little firmer mid stroke, yet it felt more compliant in the start .... strange I know.On the climbs though I did feel a little more movement @ 25% vs when I was running at 30% sag....so can only assume that at the 30% mark the suspension was starting to ramp up already.Lot's of guessing going on here, but the bike certainly was a hell of alot of fun to ride, or should I say, a bit more fun that usual. Really love this Spitty! A basic pic as we got to the top of the climb at Dead Mans Tree before heading out to Signal Hill .... the bike is laying down as the freeking wind was too strong to lean the bike up against the tree or the bench!Basic update ...tchjooned the shinny knobs a little left or right, but essentially still at the same setting, though running a little less LSC on the fork now. The bike is just a blast to ride. I recon that I was running far too slow rebound before, and that made the bike a little dead. Now she is more lively and certainly feels more plush on the high speed high frequency stuff. Also swapped out the HD for a DHF ... one ride out and the DHF is such an improvement over the HD. All in this is just such a great bike..... so much so that I still have not been looking at other bikes thinking "what if I got one of those" ..... though I may harbour dirty thoughts a side bike in SS Steel and 29'er guise ... but that is dirty talk for another thread..
