Hairy, when is birthday - I am going to buy you a surf board leash!

With regards to the front wheel and the Spitfire, both models I have ridden (and the Phantom as well actually) I have found the bikes respond well to running a chunky aggressive tyre up front, then loading the front end of the bike in the corners, a similar way to the way one rides a MX bike.

Takes a little bit of getting used to doing, but works a treat

I used to run a DHR2 on the front of my previous ride, and that inspired confidence in the corners ... not feeling that with the H/Damf.

Also used a DHF2 on the old HT and that also inspired confidence.

Just need to get used to the HD.

Make that a Looonnnggg leash please :P

All in, the Spitty is such a nice ride!

Need to take some decent pics of her!

The HD does take a bit of getting used to, but once you got it sussed, it's a great tyre IMO.

The grip for me is predictable at all angles of cornering, without having that mid lean turn that gets a bit vague if you using a tyre with big side knobs. Handles rock gardens and roots really well too.

When you finished tearing the lugs off those HD's, Hairy....come pay us a visit for some Maxxis WT!

I will need a set of wider rims to work with the WT's ....... and I will need to ride the bloody bike more ... work and life is not allowing me the luxury right now

So I know someone who is wanting to get a Spitty from his LBS (Up Country, not CT) and has the option of a CC or an X-fusion ... now he would rather run a Rockshox out back, and this leaves him in the situation where he would have to sell whichever can he orders with the frame, and then buy a RS can.

Anyone here (HELLO THERMO) that could be interested in taking over a brand spanking new CC inline rear can?

Mine has the CC on and It's been awesome, you work of the bass tune that is supplied by CC or Banshee and it is done. I have set mine and have not touched it since the start. Edited by Bizkit031

I ran a CC inline for the first year and had no issues, the next one I got retired in a month.

Awesome shocks but unsure of reliability.

I have heard good things about the x-fusion but I have never used one.

They probably in the similar market for reselling, but new shock will have some sort of warranty.

There is a disturbance in the Force.....

There will be more disturbances.... if there are no pictures soon and/or if your wife finds out.....
