Bike value???

Hi Guys

 

I would like to sell my old bike, it is a 2010 Merida ninety-six hfs 1000-d. I however have no idea what its worth?

 

I upgraded it to a full xt setup, some american classic tubeless rims and new continental mountain king tyres. I still have the original seat (brand new) and the original dt swiss rims.

 

I would appreciate some advice on a possible selling price.

Sellers will tell you 15k ???? Buyers 5 grand . I personally wouldn't pay more than 6 or 7 grand .

I reckon 7 to 8k easily . depending on condition

I had 1 sold for 7500 was told by bike shop it's worth a lot more so advertised it for what they said (10k) but after weeks I realized it not going dropped the price and started to get interest dropped it to 8k and had a couple of offers and 7500 was the highest. at the end of the day you can ask what you want but it doesn't mean it's going to sell. I've seen great bikes at bargain prices and I have seen bikes at ridiculous prices the good prices sell the nutters advertise week after week hoping to find another nutter.

I have the 3000D and I'm still riding it. Might not be the latest and greatest but it still rides as well as it did on day 1
