Well, Kittel dominated that finalè even after a chaotic final km

Fortunately, no crashes as it was a technical finish

Pffft, it must have been the slowest sprint I have ever seen, Kittel could have won with his eyes closed.  The most exciting part of the stage was the solo run by Berlato.

Kitten is one sec behind the Maglia Rosa after a 10 sec bonus for 1st finisher.

Barring any surprises, he should be in pink this evening.

Chancellera is having a hard time as a result of stomach flu, had to sit up and take it easy at the end of stg2 yesterday...as a result got dropped.

Not a nice way for his final year to unfold

It is good to see that Fabian Cancellara (Trek Segafredo) is at the start and determined to carry on in the Giro despite being hit by a virus on the eve of the race.

It seems that Tjallingii was the first to attack and was then joined by the other three riders. Tjallingii is racing on home roads and proudly flying the flag for Dutch team LottoNL-Jumbo.

Kristian Sbaragli (Dimension Data) celebrates his 26th birthday. He won a sprint stage at the Vuelta last year. Can he perhaps win again and give himself a special present?
