As for me, just been for my first run in 10 days since injuring my soleus calf muscle, glad to report all ok apart from tight achilles....so feeling amped for tomorrow whilst watching women's race on tv. Will wander down to Marine Drive shortly to watch them on the run.... going to be a sprint between Ryf and Charles Ryf is gaining distance on the run [emoji106]

Benjamin Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 I might have heard wrong, but I’m sure the commentator reckons there are about 700 or so athletes here from the US , and about 500 from SA. If so, that’s amazing. They were hugely complementary about the race and event venue here .

I know the roads are closed but still...?Bike course is anticlockwise and to avoid crossing over traffic at the right turn to the way back via Marine Drive, we are riding on the right and passing left.
