MTB Shoes (flat pedals) - what are the local options

Currently using flat pedals (Shimano Saints) with my Merrel boots or Nike running shoes for trail riding, but sooner or later the pins are going to rip those soles. Can already see the damage on some parts.

What other locally available options are there for shoes that work well with flat pedals (with pins).

Is Diald on the hub? Been battling to get hold of these guys.

The 5-10 agency is Stoked Distribution (they sold the Diald website). Hubber Roshambo is the Gauteng rep and is one of the mechanics at my shop the Trailhead.

5-10 pedals Huh???

Correction...

5.10 shoes and the pedals that go with them. Can't remember the brand of pedals. They were R900 or something.

My wife did the research and decided on what she wanted. I just bought them. Personally, I prefer cleats so don't really have a clue about these 5.10's. Wifey is enjoying them though and riding more often with me now.

I bought some skate shoes a while back and they work well. Just finding that they a little thin soles so my feet start to hurt somewhat, not alot, after the ride but a far better option thatn 5-10s in terms of price.

Would love a pair of 5-10s though
