A 5 hour cutoff for a marathon?  That's a bit harsh.

It sounds harsh...Speaking to the organizers, the lady told me I don't have to worry,  "everyone gets a medal here, even if it takes longer than 5hrs"

Just a word of advise. I used a cloth one, and it become tricky to zip it back up while riding. If you are confident riding a road bike with no hands on the bars, this won't be an issue. If not, rather get one of the rubber type ones that don't have a zip.
