Strange question, why are Saddle bags deemed "uncool"?

Had the bulk of the items in OP's shirt been in a saddle back, he could have possibly sustained less injuries...

I'll rather take the pain than the shame  no saddle bags

Always carried stuff in my pockets - phone, bombs, adapter, plugs & tool, multi-tool, quicklink, levers & gels. Crashed plenty, no injuries resulted from cargo in pockets other than a burst gel.

PS: Why carry a shock pump??

I only carry my phone, energy bars and gels in my back pockets, everything else goes into tool bottle holder which I've mounted in a bottle cage on my seatpost.

I am unfamiliar with that measurement. I need to know if it will fit in my jersey pocket?

It will. But sometimes you need to take a few bites first, Which isn't really a problem for me.

Who even carries tools, that for noobs. Just make sure your mates you ride with have all the kit and use their stuff. Camelbacks, tools in a can and saddle bags are all uncool.

Sshht! This only works when only one of us are doing it. Don't let them know know my secret.

Keep the back clear of sharp and bulky objects

Reserve your pockets for egg sandwiches and gels

Use a saddle bag rather and/or the tube of your frame

(Hydration packs used to be hydration packs, which is ergonomically cool; these days it has turned into backpacks which poses a risk)

TUBE OF THE FRAME??? Have you cut off your sleeves, taken off your socks and become a try athlete?
