I entered on Monday. Still haven't received my confirmation for the 60km. Son got his 20km confirmation yesterday. Entries were done by me at the same time. Hmmm.

I have never done an event timed by Bout-time. Does anyone know how it works: will we get some sort of chip(board) / need to purchase a special board?

They should provide the race boards for you, they are quite good, finishing sms as you cross the line and live results on their website.

How safe is it cycling in the area?  I'm looking at cycling to the race from Centurion (probably up Solomon Mahlangu Dr - Lynwood Rd - Silver Lakes Rd - etc.), doing  the 60k race, and cycling back home...
