you sir, are a smart man !!

Hope the bike is ok, and you heal up quick.

Bike had a cracked rear stay from cart wheels and the shifters, pedals and saddle all got wrecked.

The assessor discovery uses is taking a while to get back with report. My LBS took 12 minutes to get back with a cost estimate. Cost of Frame, Shifters, Pedals, saddle bar tape. Boom. Not sure how its taken 3 days...

Really ? will you just give away money from your business because 1 person misunderstood the conditions of his purchase ?

Eliminating the middleman from the transaction would leave about the same profit for the distributor and avoid giving the brand a bad name - I also have a mojito- and I like it - but will have to consider going back to bell only if they don't come to the party if it gets crash damaged.

The kind of response that suppliers have often leads to customer loyalty - years ago I hit a car on my Raleigh road bike and trashed the frame - walked away myself - and Raleigh - when told of the crash replaced the frame free of charge with a note to say "glad you are ok"

Now that is the way to do it... not telling a customer to effectively fro....

I'm sure your dealer will look after you...

So my Mojito saved my Neck yesterday. full arse over kettle on my MTB. landing 100% on my head. 1 stiff neck and a fair few grazes i am grateful this helmet did such a good job.

looking at my helmet is was manufactured in middle of 2013. i bought it from CWC for R980 late in 2013. (NOT on special!)

Just discovered my Kask Mojito was seriously cracked on the back inside. I did have a crash about a week after getting it  mid September,  but don't even think my head hit....but there's a crinkle in the back so maybe I did. Or maybe it fell off my shelf. In any case, makes me think Kask quality is not so good as they would like you to think. Their website only shows crash replacement for Equestrian helmets.  Their warranty is administered through www.highwaytwo.com. And to whomever observed the ventilation is awful, that is spot on. Without a cap underneath, I was dripping wet.

Had a mild crash time back and would have sworn I did not hit my head. But ... in the shower washing the helmet found a small dent on the outside and 2 cracks on the inside. So helmet trashed. Point is, you never sure in the heat of the moment which points hit the road.

Ever considered that wearing a cap under your helmet could be trapping the heat and causing increased sweating?

The sweating was without cap. Only used a cap on colder mornings....that at least kept sweat out of my eyes, as was the case on warmer days w/o cap. Helmet was drenched, but  I do like the interior fabric that Kask used. I just think their construction quality is not up to par. Possibly Chinese knock offs with Italian labels, sure wouldn't surprise me. Cheers. F
