Wanted: Road bike lease

Hi all,

 

I am keen to part with money and provide sufficient guarantees (Insurances etc) for the use of a road bike during the month of November.

 

My current road bike weighs 9.3kgs and to upgrade seems to start from R30k for minor weight saving.

 

The bike spec which I am willing to pay for:

Full carbon frame

Shimano Ultegra (or higher) / equivalent 10/11 speed

Wheels weighing 1380g out less

Size medium (54,55)

Design: best suited for speed and climbing

I don't mind paying for extras like power meters etc.

 

Pm/whatsapp me should this sound viable to yourself or anyone with this spec bike stored in a garage unused.

You need to be more specific about what you need the bike for, why the very specific specification, where you will be riding and what you have in mind to pay.

 

I could have helped but my spare roadbike is not Carbon (it is Titanium) only has Campag Record on and the Enve wheels weigh more than 1380g, so I am out.

To rent a car that costs as much as a bike of that spec would cost R400 a day (plus insurance) and they put a big hold on your Credit Card and the right to debit all outstanding costs against it when they give you the car.

 

So on that basis, I may be interested in hiring out my primary road bike

Firstly I'll be riding at the cradle to acquaint myself to the bike's setup and make adjustments to suit my max ftp and comfort. Then I'll be riding in either C group or D group 94.7. Thats pretty much it hey.. Im opting to buy a TT bike (which I've been considering for a while) for triathlons rather than pure road bike... Buying both are out of my reach for now
