Does anyone know where to get hold of a MET parachute?

Hi all, I'm looking at the MET parachute helmet or something similar, where can I get hold of one in this country? These things cost a fortune to bring in.

Hi and welcome to Bike Hub. Unfortunately not imported into SA. Bell offers something similar in the 2R (also not imported), but worth checking out the discussion on it HERE.

Chain Reaction had it on special for about R 2,000 or so, which after adding VAT, 30% import duties and DHL shipping works out to about R 3,300 or so.

there's a cycling shop at access city in Cape Town where i got a met at damn decent price, they had mainly that and craft gear

Do you perhaps mean Access Park. I heard of a cycling apparel shop there not sure though

I forget the name, and i cant describe where it is besides "the middle, by the sunglasses stand in access park" which isint very helpful at all, but i was extremely impressed by the prices, you could get craft gear for rapid sports prices.

Access Park. Previous importer dumping stock. Met and Craft in there, but the Parachute won't be found as it was never imported. Chain Reaction Cycles will be your best bet.
