Rob mentioned it during the commentary and I see some comments flying about on PB..just wondering if it is all talk

Ooh.. between the channel hopping I missed that.

.would be weird hey .. he is still so young.

I'm raising it again - ratboy retiring...whats the deal..anyone know anything? rumour has it he wants to do other stuff

I think you read too much into their comments, but it definitely seems like the Rat is over the whole racing thing.

Doubt it's retirement. More likely a case of Peaty being his lifeline at the Syndicate this last horrible season and now that he's leaving Ratboy is out in the cold.  I heard rumours of DeVinci picking him up.  I still maintain Intense is where he needs to be.

ja -i Dunno.I think its a given he is out of Santa Cruz and luca Shaw is in...but there is a strong opinion that he wants to take some time off to do his own stuff...maybe not retirement but a gaaap year

Anyone have a link to some footage of the Blenkinsop crash?  Must be the crash of the season.

the redbull replay - its right at the end in the highlights reel where they showed a few crashes

Nah. He needs to head over to GT. Just imagine him and Sam Dale in the same room.

Any thoughts on the XCO?

Ladies: Yo!landa did fantastic ride and took it, we need to get the low down on her inconsistency, lets hope that over after the winter. Jenny, well she's been busy with Gold obligations and has only been on her bike 2x since Rio, . Catherine rolled in 3rd to take the overall. Anika was way back, didn't seem to be on the case, again. Ghunn Rita, well what a legend. Amazing how well these older ladies perform, leading from the front. And Emily took third on the overall! Common gyrl, take a step up next year!

Mens: Cink did well, almost took it. Julian lived up to his legendary performance whilst Nino had bad luck (a flat at a bad time), rolled in smiling with the Amigos who is retiring,

Bummed its all over already! thanks RBTV for the web casts. Fanstastic sport, people, love it.

Recon its called being fired, not retirement :-)

Although I enjoyed the race especially GM and DH's runs and the rain excitement, this track, good as it is, doesn't make for a great spectacle. The steepness is lost on TV and they don't show the upper sections and big jumps. All we got was the steep dusty gnar lower down, which just doesn't look as exciting as it actually is. Anyway, great race and a pity its all over after only 7 rounds. There should be at least 10 I recon.

they should show a camera from down looking up at the bottom to grasp the steepness of it..it is crazy steep

last year they had cameras on those jumps and the 2013 they had cameras right at the bottom - where you could see that crazy line that remi took...and it showed it really well

Jip, the melancholy of another World Cup season coming to an end.  But now we're in spring, and we can stop living vicariously and go ride our own damn bikes ;)
