A secondhand hardtail from the classifieds. Bear in mind that you'll need a couple thousand for some kit.

Jip, I understand but the only problem I have is im from Namibia.

Remember the hub is full of good people. Ask that somebody go and check the bike for you. 10 will probably offer to do it.

Then to get it to Nam.

Ask again.

Somebody may offer to take it to Upington, somebody else may offer to drop it off at your house.

We all share a common interest, and..... it feels damn good to do a favour for somebody who shares your common interest.

And if you dont come right with the transport of the bike ask me. I will pay the costs for couriers to get it to you

mooi so Vetseun   agreed...The Hub is scattered with awesome fellow cyclist...for R8k you can find a decent secondhand Hardtail bike still in good condition with possibly some SLX/XT components...29" for your size and also it's the right thing to do...LOL.

Any further questions...just ask  MANY Hubbers sitting at the keyboards waiting to reply...enjoy and have fun...welcome to the dark side

I have a look today at some bike...

Giant revel 1

Mongoose tyax

Titan ryder

Scott Aspect

what to you guys say...

I would go with the Scott, then Giant, personally not a fan of Mongoose or Titan, but they aren't bad bikes at all

Hi there Jaco Morne, welcome to the BikeHub and cycling as a whole,I'm sure you'll enjoy it a lot.

Regarding the bike, if its a lime green and matt black Aspect it sounds like the Aspect 910.

Its a really well specced bike, mostly Shimano Deore parts with a XT jockey and a Rock Shox Air Fork, more than adequate for a starter bike. This bike will give you miles and miles of smiles. [emoji106]
