And then there's Pinot who is arguably the strongest time triallist in the top 10 apart from Dumoulin. He's only 10 seconds back on Nibali and 15 on Quintana. And he's looked strong the last two days.

 

This Giro, in other words, is wide open. ????????

Pinot is also a better TT than Nairo. .there are more than just one or 2 to keep am eye on Movistar will have a challenging day tomorrow. .

No way of knowing what's going on in each of their heads as they pin it up the climbs, just how bad they are hurting , or not, or whether the tactics commentators or armchairs like us are shouting at, are actually what's gong down . Get a bit of insight at interviews etc but I reckon less chess goes on than we think. Just boys out racing their bikes .
