Amazed the riders don't put up more of a protest with these types of finishes.

This speaks to that LA discussion I posted a couple pages back. He made a good point about riders being represented - "They need to get their sh*t together and get a seat at the table."

* Oh and his point about sprinters being bat-sh*t crazy was pretty funny too!

Yip

They also generally only complain after it goes pear shaped.

They are all too concerned about their own interests than actually standing up to the UCI as a unit.

Aah but we have been saying it for years nothing will change.

Exqueeze me? A nuisance?

The TdF is the race for the Yellow Jersey. The green jersey is just noise. Uncultured brutes stomping pedals like a herd of triceratops from years of legend. These flat stages are a nuisance and the winners go down as footnotes in the annals of history. It is only the Yellow Jersey, the true embodiment of cycling, upon which the pantheon of cycling legends are built.

...a nuisance

Someone's on the Aru juice...  :whistling:

But that finish is going to be interesting considering the amount of riders that is going to try get there first...

Well done to Aru .

As Robbie Mac said , he will rather lose the tour trying to win it , than not try at all ( NQ and RP possibly ) .

However I am not sure he can put enough pressure on team Sky , especially with his team mate getting dropped on the climb .

I will not be unhappy if CF wins , but I do hope they put him under immense pressure .

Good luck to ALL contesting the finish today ....... ( if it is a sprint ) .

Today will be Kittel VS Greipel all the way.

Ja. QS messed up badly on Tuesday by not getting (prevented to by the other teams)to the front to organise ..they won't want to make the same mistake again.

Best solution for today would be a Stevo Cummings Long range BAZOOOKA!

Would be lovely if he can upset the sprint trains.

But I fear today is not his day... yet...

I think him and Contador will only get stronger, remember last year, Nairo was also gapped in the first week. Give him time.

Well done to Fabio Aru .

Its good to see someone else coming to the fore.

The Sky train is not good for spectatorship.

DeMare has become a force, Cav'

And like most sprinters, his tail is up and confidence is high

Kittel Caffeine Hair is the big name to roll over

He's looking good

Please don't misunderstand me.. I am only referring to sprint finishes. And that because of the 3km rule they have to be too close to the front while the sprint teams try and organise..it's an added danger the riders have been asking for change regarding this for many years.

So there will be a yellow jersey sprint at 3km to go and a green jersey sprint on the line?

Where do the white jersey contenders sprint to? [emoji33][emoji23]
