No ! No ! No!

You will damage them.

Shimano uses Mineral oil and SRAM uses Dot fluid.

its dot 4 and 3 bottles, reason i ask is the rubbish they bleed my brakes with overheats and gets spongy to fast, cars fluid is way more heat resistant

Old fluid belongs in the trash. Shamano use mineral oil. Others use dot fluid. Read the instructions or you will stuff us the seals.

i have avid elixers

Avids run Dot fluid, not mineral oil like shimano. Dot 3 and 4 can be mixed.

Just don't get the stuff on paint and brake pads.

so would the cars dot 4 and 3 not overheat as much as the cheap nonsense in my brakes?

Hey dude, I bleed my own brakes. I use car dot 4 or 5 and so far no problems. I would recommend going to bigger discs as this would help with the over heating. what size do you have?

The larger the Dot number, the higher the temperature rating.

As the fluid gets old, it absorbs water, decreasing the temp rating significantly - I would guess that's your problem.

Flush the brakes while its being bled, and use the higher Dot rating.

It's frighting how some ppls bikes are set up !! Bigger rotor needs to be up front ! Just use the correct fluid in your brakes !! If you running shimano use shimano fluid ! These things stop you , do you really want them failing because you cheaped out ?
