I've bought a few tools from bikegoodies.co.za over the years, they are the Pedro's agents, nice tools. Looks like they are closing down now and having a 55% off sale:

Use coupon code “closeout” at checkout to get 55% discount

For most orders unless its huge they appear to charge R100 for courier to your door.

Some tools I can recommend(all still listed at full price just deduct 55%) :

Downhill Tire Lever - Get 2, one of the best levering tools I've every used, not only handy for putting tyres on, makes the most stubborn tyre glide on without mashing the rim, if you are into DIY these things are awesome.

Bump for the morning crowd!

Get those Downhill tyre levers(if there are any left) , they are truly amazing.

I skipped them just feeling a bit uneasy about metal on alu. Feel my plastic ones are more than adequate.

noob question: how are they on rims?

I skipped them just feeling a bit uneasy about metal on alu. Feel my plastic ones are more than adequate.

Work a pleasure, they are polished smooth, rounded edges, chromed with a nice wide head, slight curve on the tip. This is the right tool for the job, I can whole heartedly recommend them. That was actually how I discovered Pedro's tools, someone recommended the Dh lever.

They do not marr your rim, the reason metal objects like screwdrivers etc damage rims is they have sharp edges/rough surface/narrow etc the wide smooth rounded edges of the downhill lever spread the load and are so smooth they won't scratch from contact.

I do a fair bit of diy/taking things apart and I've also used them to strip a variety of objects where the act of levering damages the lip of whatever you are opening or cracks it because the load is not spread, the slight bend in the rip also gives you perfect leverage, these levers make an easy job when any levering is involved, love them!

Those tire levers are great for removing fork wiper seals.   The vice grip "chain whip" is also a nice to have.  It allows you to remove a cassette with an impact wrench and you can use it with a chain whip to reverse "bitten in" cassette cogs

Had the t-handle hex set in my cart, then decided against it based on unfavourable reviews across the net.

I'd personally only buy bike specific Pedro's tools, I did notice on Amazon there was quite a range of opinions on the quality of different Pedro's tools, some get 5* reviews other tools get very poor reviews, but I suppose that's true for any make. I would say by and large pretty close to Park tool quality, even some Park tools aren't so hot.

Another tool that is a winner is that pedal wrench I listed in the op, that's another bike specific tool that's so helpful when you need it, pedals can get almost seized into cranks, then I used to put a pipe on a spanner and then the offset on spanner often can make it slip out the pipe just when you have all your weight leveraged against it, I've had that experience more than a few times.

The reviews of that spanner is very good, almost every one mentions the seized pedal situation and the spanner making easy work of it.

The sale seems to be over. The coupon code no longer works.
