Bike Couriers

Hi Hubbers,

I'm interested in a 2nd hand bike that is in PE, while i'm based in stellenbosch. Does anyone have any recommendations for couriers, or any alternative service that I could use for getting the bike here. Tips, do's and don'ts - any input would be handy!

Tryptych. I have used them a few times, really reasonable and excellent service.

Get the seller to take it to lbs to box up, I sent my last one from JHB-EL with time freight but there are others.

I have used Xoc.co.za numerous times. It the courier guy in essence but they have private ppl collecting and there vans dropping of. You can get a free quote on line by putting inthe dimensions of the box and the pick up point and drop of point . You get a exact quote there and then . They work on the honesty system ,if they catch you cheating the dimensions and weight 2 or 3 times you banned .

 

Have yet to find any one else cheaper or more realible. Just need guy who is selling to box for you.
