Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem as I....

 

Constantly wanting something new and better....

 

Got my bike December, and already thinking of upgrading....

 

You see where this is going???

I don't have this problem. I am quite happy with my bikes. They fulfill their means and are definitely better equipped than a bike has to be for my riding ability. It's not the bike that makes you faster but your own ability.

Too much money is being wasted on unnecessary upgrades and bling.

Nope, I don't have that problem.  My bicycle is my transport to work and my toy for weekends.  If it works I don't need to upgrade and replace.

Yes in a way I am that way to. Already have a great bike with decent components ,but always find my self wanting to splurge.

 

On the other hand looking at all the bling bits does in some strange way make me want to get on the bike every day.

yep... but it's difficult to think in terms of 'need' and not 'want' with all the cool stuff out there...

My problem:  My budget doesn't allow me to do cycling:  PERIOD!  LOL

 

Now I'm already considering buying a dual susser....

 

before you know it I'll be buying a road bike!!! Shocked
