Okay so today got an apple watch 3, which does not support swimming as an activity in Strava, however there is an app called swimexporter which takes swimming data from the workout and health app and exports to Strava.

Now here comes the dilemma, swam 30 laps which took me 21 minutes (was planning on an easy swim just for some recovery) and the app does what it says on the tin; exports to Strava, just minus the time I was actually recovering and only taking the actual moving time, which was just over 17 minutes. HR data is there and alles (which is actually quite nice)

Still claiming it!! (And making sure all future swims are 30 min+)

Feel you. Did a walk to the shops and back to work earlier in the week. Was a total time of about 40min. Strava only recorded it as 16 minutes. Could luckily fit a run in later in the day.

Decided to run my Garmin while cutting the grass today... 430m covered, 105 average HR, 20 minutes worth. Don't worry, I didn't post it - was just curious to see what data I see, given it was still cooking at 16:00.

Another week complete, after today's recovery run. Good luck for the next week ahead.

Is your auto pause function on? I found the same thing happening when the walking pace is so slow it think's you've stopped.

That's probably more exercise (higher HR) than walking

As Frosty said, check that your auto pause function is off. I had numerous misshaps last year, and since I've switched if off; no problems.

14/14!

Auto pause is on. I did realize that it was the problem but I prefer it on for my riding. Still going strong. This week may be tricky. Got some after work appointments, so cannot commute as much as normal. Might need to get up earlier, not really a morning person.

The not making it part. I think fact that I haven’t failed yet, might lead her to trashing a clothes shop soon...

What caused her to stop?
