I started this challenge with a “Walk - Run on 1 Jan at the Vaal dam. 3 months later, I had a lekker ride at the dam again. Started it as motivation to be more active this year, no goals to loose weight, though I’ve shifted a few kg’s. I’m definitely fitter and stronger, enjoying riding and just being active!

Let me tell you.....

Golf is not so easy.

After 3 days of golf (mostly walking following the golf cart)

I need a rest [emoji16]

Once played 36 holes per day over the Easter weekend... 144 holes with an average score of 4.33 per hole (no cart, no caddy). A retro-calculation would have made it about 60km worth of walking, between tee & green.

Wow that’s impressive, excellent score as well you must be good.

I once played 18 holes 6 days in a row (walking with trolley bag) and was knackered... luckily it was in turkey and the courses were flat.

Was in Std 9, so young and... [insert own word here]. That was many moons ago.

Was playing off a 7 at the time, but shooting regular scores in the mid 70’s. Was cut to a 3 just before end of year exams that year.

Day 100.

Already wondering how it will feel missing a day in around 270 days time.

The guilt is killing me.

You've done more than double my mileage  , although to be fair half my activities have been runs.

Never mind the mileage...check out the elevation gain

It isn't flat so much down south. Only one of those 105 uploads is not recorded on the Elemnt, but on the phone, which chucked out an error of about 3 000m (and Strava won't let you correct). But still 45 000-odd. Now I must teach myself to gain them metres quicker. #goalswithingoals #vamforbreakfast

So last night my plans to ride to the Squash court, play 5 games and ride home again were scuppered by the weather.  So I turned on Strava, put my phone in my pocket, and ended up playing 6 games (won 4 to 2)...

GPS signal acquired, but "auto stop" has adjusted my total time of 40:44 to 18:39.  As I don't have a compatible HRM, I have no heart rate data.  So it seems my high intensity, low distance and adjusted time session is going to put me out of the challenge, unless total time will be accepted...?

Nee wat.

My auto stop is disabled, and sometimes it still struggles to pick up movement.

I've got loads of activities shorter than 20min, but they all were at least 20+min.

If strava says 20min on the screen before syncing, it counts.

My biggest week for the challenge so far, i.t.o. duration and distance. In fact, also the biggest week in the last year. One more day to go, then 1/3 of the way through the challenge. Will post the usual month-end data tomorrow evening, after a well-deserved recovery day at work (unfortunately)
