My problem is that Raliegh change their colours so damn often. I had a C40 Colnago that was a good few years old,but looked just like the newer Colnago's used by Rabobank. To the average guy in the street he wouldnt know the difference between the two.

But with Raliegh you know immediately. If its a white RC6000 its a 2005 model... Yellow its a 2008 model. So I think that plays a big part in the bikes appeal.

 

I have an RC6000 hanging in my garage. I'm never compelled or 'moved' to want to ride it.

 

I realise loads of people have them and enjoy them. But given the chance I'm sure everyone would opt for an Italian supercycle...or an American muscle bike...

90% of the manufacturers change their colour scheme every year (except Monoc that has had the same colours for about 30 years now....j/k). It's not just Raleigh, it is an industry thing.

Raleighs are k@k. Worst ever bikes. Even DG wouldn't ride one at the Giro earlier this year' date=' and I bet McCleod was on a re-badged Kuota at SA's...

If I was presented with an option between a Raleigh or a Cervelo there would be no choice!!

 

I don't know Delgado, I don't think Cervelo's are all cracked what they used to beLOLLOLLOLLOLLOL
