Any one have any cool contact person at dragon /giant sa to escalate too. A "new" basically un-used dropper of a 2016 trance seized and since nov they have been waiting for stock?

Just keep chipping away at them, had the same thing going on and they eventually swapped it out for the latest one.

This is why I think Dragons lost the Santa Cruz distributor deal because they can't service their clients with parts and equipment,now Giant seems to be suffering the same fate.

So apparently they have no stock and don't foresee any soon? Can i demand a cash refund to get another brand?

So tired of this industry . They are happy to charge thousands of rands for parts , but when they break the customer can just eat ****. No stock , then Damn well get some , air freight one here to cover your promise (warranty) like a reputable business would .

Sorry but 2 giant dropper posts that have failed In their warranty period and both times dragon have gone out of their way to try to avoid and duck their responsibly. Not only that but I've been waiting for a replacement cartridge that was due to be here on 15 Jan. Olympic cycles were good for the first one and all props to them to follow through with all the nonsense for very little return.

 

Second one Dragon are now deciding that despite having full documentation they have to have the documents that they sent to Olympic before they will think of honouring their warrenty.

 

Honestly I have been massively disappointed by the local agents attitide in eroding one of the biggest companies in the industry reputation.

 

As a result I won't buy from them again. Was looking at new TCR or a propel and but not any more. Droppers? Lyne have light years on them for service. Yeah it's a R800 cartridge but if you treat you people like that for a minor item. God knows what will happen on a bigger claim.

So.... "Giant SA" wants to issue normal giant seat posts to every one who is waiting on replacement dropper as they have no stock or idea of stock inbound. Il start a cpa investigation in monday as im sure they are not allowed to just downgrade ?

is the normal seatpost not just A temp till the actual droppers arrive?

Yip, I had a tcr advanced SL , was looking at a giant anthem x29 now . It I'll take something else now. If the only valid argument there is for buying local is for local support , then since we get zero support . Online is the only way now .
