I use a Garmin Edge 500 with a GSC10 sensor (cadence & speed)

just disable GPS when using it on the IDT

Tried that exercise already. Problem is that Stationary Bike front wheel and peddle are to far from each other.

you fit the cadence/speed sensor on your chainstay6159538355_cf8b718b70_b.jpg

My apologies, it is a spinner. The flywheel is in front and peddle is to far from each other. I got a spare garmin /speed sensor that would have been ideal, but unfortunately not working.

I am looking for a cycling computer that has a separate cadence and a separate speed sensor. Not GPS compatible..... Would like to fit it in my indoor trainer.

They new sensors are separate @ about R750 each I am planning the same mod on my spinning bike.

Yes, garmin new sensors are separated, but keep in mind that speed sensor can not be fitted on the hub as it is a solid flywheel on the spinner.

I have lots of space on my left side of the Flywheel, I am going to have a little hub made that would jut bolt onto the side..

Can you not perhaps use the GSC10 sensor on the flywheel (sensor on fork and glue magnet on flywheel), then buy a separate cadence sensor for the crank arm?
