@ NotSoBigBen although this would probably be the best weapon of choice for the Fast one races unfortunately UCI regulations state that the use of traditional road handlebars are forbidden. It would however be very interesting to see the reactions when the mtb riders get smoked by a "roadie"  :whistling:

@jcza, i heard that there was a CX bike at the last fast one... apparently made a early breakaway but then suffered a sidewall cut. Obviously would have been DQ'ed due to the UCI regulations but to be honest, i have no idea what the reasoning behind the rule is

Didn't see the cut but did see him struggling at the end with the terrain. 

 

Can someone please post the rule that shows CX bikes not allowed in MTB races?
