I must say... haven't enjoyed a race like that in a long time. There were some strong men at the front on DL determined to pull the whole way. It was only the last few k's where some new faces started to come to the front.

 

What kit did you have on? I had a slow start but ended up working nicely with about 5-6 guys till the end.

 

I was also very surprised at how big the group was at the end, I thought there were only a few of us due to the lack of help...

Also rode in DL, could keep up with mr camelback and the lead bunch until halfway when they dropped us on a hill.

 

Great fun doing a road race with my brother for a change, both of us wearing baggies!

Ja I guess that's racing. There's a fine line between racing the guys around you and working together for a good time.

In a roundabout way, I did that... closest I came to the front was 4-5 bike lengths, but still got a good time. I just didn't celebrate it, as 50-something position was (really) close to the back of the bunch.

my seeding continues to improve which is a good thing, but it would be better if they get it right.

There were lots of uploads to Strava mentioning wind. I didn't feel any either.
