Shebeen Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 They have been having issues with the tracking site, but it's mostly working from what i can see. you can also use the mobile app/site, on your big screen too.  http://app.bluedot.mobi/app-pc.html#home they are about a 3rd of the way now. Bennie Roux is about 8km ahead of the chasing pack(Hanno, hobbit, misty and andy), and through WP4. 130km in 24 hours, just over 5km/hr.I think this will be the general pace they go at, so looking at about 70-80hours for the whole shebang but the stops will get longer!

(12 000m ascent over 320km vs 9500m ascent over 400km) so my timing on 70 was probably a bit optimistic

dave303e Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 I do think this race is going to be about feet management hey, pics show a few with blisters already. The last 100km will decide it if anything, I do back the adventure racers a bit more though, they have experienced a days 3 and 4 non stop before so it may be in their favour.
