TerryT Posted May 10, 2017 Share In Nov 2016 purchased for my son a complete group set- SRAM Eagle XX1 Gold including crank set,Already back then SRAM struggled to supply the crank,Now replaced the chain, BUT ALSO NEED TO REPLACE THE CHAIN RING,SRAM cannot supply the gold chain ring - they just don't have stock…...So have a new chain, with an old chain ring, that chain will go bust soon-Thank you SRAM,Beware of SRAM, they do not carry stock.Let me say we love the Eagle XX1 Gold, but cannot get parts…... dewaldsss Posted May 10, 2017 Share There is a thread somewhere on the hub where the guys discussed chainrings and 1x11 vs 1x12 compatibility. Negotiations between the "brand" and the distributors leads to the fact that we only have one distributor to SA...so not only the distributor to blame in my opinion.
