Balooba Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 My back hub feels like it is slipping when I am in the small gears on the cassette (11, 13, 15). Also making a noise like a hammer hitting steel (clank-clank ) Only when I am having a go, normal peddling no problem. On top end all is well, no noise and no imagined slipping. I do not have money at the moment for a new hub, so what to do. HELP PLEASE.

ByronH Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 This happened to me a few weeks ago. GO and replace the freebody of the hub the immediately. I rode it too long in that condition, and stripped the hub completely. Ended up having to get an entire new hubset.
